I don’t know about your students, but mine are VERY bothered by the amount of pollution they see & often discuss human impact on our environment so I know they will love to get creative this year!

Sub plans wrapped up in one minute….if only they actually took that long 🫠

A few ways I try to simplify the process & make for easy sub plans and a smooth day for the substitute:

📕 Sub binder prepared at the beginning of the year with all the info - easy to grab and have ready.

📂 Editable sub plan template created at the beginning of the year. So much stays the same from day to day & just have to change the content/activities

💻 Daily slides - use them daily & easy to update. Helps to make the day run smooth + keeps it consistent for students!

A simple + meaningful activity to add to your Valentine’s Day celebrations ❤️

4th grade at my school has done this for years & every year it is so sweet to see students light up when they read all of the nice things their classmates and loved ones notice about them! 🥰

This isn’t my original idea so the resources are not on TPT but let me know in the comments if you’d like the slide + letter and I’ll send it over 💕 It’s also in my free Google Drive - link is in my bio!

If we notice a parent/guardian has not sent in a note, we find someone in the school who the student has a positive relationship with to write them a letter. (This doesn’t happen often) We also encourage families to write letters in their home language so they feel more comfortable.

I rented these sweaters + a few dresses for vacation. Being pregnant, it is the perfect way to have clothes that fit without spending money on clothes I won’t be wearing again in a few months!
